Deacons are called, selected and appointed by God.  Acts 6:3; “Wherefore brethren, look ye out among you seven men of honest report, full of the Holy Ghost and wisdom, whom we may appoint over this business”.

TRUSTEE MINISTRY
Trustees shall be responsible for all legal obligations for the church and shall ensure requirements regarding mortgage, insurance and other financial matters are met.

USHERS MINISTRY

Ushers are one of the sources of our first contact with new comers. Being a Church usher is a sacred responsibility.  Ushers are the people’s first impression of whom and what Christ and our Church are.  Ushers are Christ’s ambassadors with a mission to bring people to God.  In Ushers the hospitality of God is seen.

YOUTH MINISTRY

To assist the body and parents of Mt. Sinai Missionary Baptist Church in training our youth to be fully devoted followers of Christ.

PRAISE  DANCE MINISTRY    praise dance  
Worship ministry provides dance that helps the congregation to enter into worship.

WOMEN MINISTRY
Encourage ideas and plans that maximize women’s contribution to the mission of the church.  The group will meet monthly for moderate discussion, and facilitate group cohesion through personal prayer and fellowship.

Meeting – 2nd Sunday each month at 9:00 a.m.


 
MEN MINISTRY
Develop and conduct a wide variety of programs monthly.  Encourage and facilitate meaningful spiritual, mental and emotional growth among the men of the church.  Be available for mentorship for young men.

Meeting – 1st Sunday each month at 8:30 a.m.

 
SUNDAY SCHOOL MINISTRY
The purpose of the Sunday School Ministry is to nurture faith and support each other through the study of the Word of God.  It is our goal to change lives for Jesus Christ by evangelizing the lost and discipline those who respond to the gospel through our classes.

BIBLE STUDY MINISTRY
We believe that each member should participate in Bible Study where the Bible is taught verse-by-verse and book-by-book.  This provides opportunity for growth in spirit, heart and knowledge.

CHORAL MINISTRY
We believe that ministry should be spread through song. Therefore we endeavor to sing praises to God and to uplift those that are broken in spirit through song.

  SCHOLARSHIP MINISTRY    

The purpose of our scholarship program is to provide financial assistance to those students who are members of Mt. Sinai Missionary Baptist Church upon graduation from high school and entering a 2-year or 4-year accredited institution of higher learning.  As long as funds are available, annual awards will be made each semester after verification of attendance and grades.
